Beautiful, robust housing within budget

Jennie Gaglardi Place is a five-storey, 98-unit affordable housing development in Langley Township offering studio, one, two, and 3-bedroom homes designed to be functional, appealing, and attainable. The building includes five fully accessible and five adaptable units, ensuring the development serves a wide range of residents, including those with mobility needs.

Designed to feel nestled within its natural and urban surroundings, the building faces a landscaped courtyard with direct access to ample indoor amenities. Horizontal band elements reduce the apparent scale of the building, while sloped rooflines draw the eye inward toward a prominent, approachable entrance grounded in stone accents. This project is a strong example of how a thoughtful mix of durable and economical cementitious materials in a variety of colours and textures can produce a beautiful, robust, and genuinely affordable home for community members.
