Forest Glen is a purpose-built rental building in Prince George, BC. The design approach centred on creating a building that harmonized with the surrounding buildings while introducing a fresh level of architectural character and identity to the community.
Serene blues, subtle greys, and warm beige material choices play a pivotal role in enhancing the building’s articulation and establishing a welcoming visual presence. At the entrance, substantial heavy timber beams convey strength and character, while durable stone cladding adds a timeless quality to the composition. Rectangular design elements frame the balconies and windows, integrating them seamlessly into the overall design and creating a sense of cohesion across the building’s facade. The result is a completed project that enriches the architectural fabric of the community and provides residents with a home that feels both grounded and carefully considered.
