A 6,200 sf clubhouse and recreational facility designed to serve as the social heart of the Creekside Ranch community in Lindell Beach, BC. The single-storey building accommodates up to 199 people and features a welcoming great room that opens onto an expansive outdoor deck, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor gathering space that anchors the community throughout the year.
The architecture embraces a contemporary interpretation of ranch-style design with a low-slung roofline and massing that responds thoughtfully to the surrounding landscape. The exterior palette combines stone-accented columns with vertical siding in bold red and contrasting taupe, adding warmth and textural richness. Large expanses of glazing frame views of the natural surroundings and bring natural light deep into the interior. The integration of the outdoor deck extends the building’s social program well beyond its walls, providing additional gathering space during warmer months and reinforcing the clubhouse’s role as the hub of community life. This project reflects how thoughtful design can create inviting recreational amenities that enhance quality of life and foster a genuine sense of belonging.
